kelly moore bag review {for photographers}

This review is about 2 years overdue, but I figure it would be useful to have honest info after a lot of use!  My husband bought me a boho Kelly Moore bag about 2 1/2 years ago, and I still really love it.  I do use it more as a purse than a shooting bag, but I’ve traveled to several countries and states with my gear in it, and I wouldn’t travel without it.  It’s definitely a great bag for when you’re carrying a lot of stuff, or don’t want people to think you have camera gear, and I get a lot of compliments on it.  For a shoot, I can fit my wallet/phone, a camera body with a small lens (like an 85mm 1.8), and an extra lens and memory cards.  Or, as a purse, I can carry a small makeup bag, all my purse stuff, along with some kid toys.  Considering how much I have used it, both as a purse and a camera bag, it’s still in pretty good shape.  The shell and interior of the bag are excellent, it just has some wear and tear on some of the edges.   Overall, it’s a little bulky for weddings, but I would highly recommend this bag for a discreet camera bag, an airplane carry-on, for a person that wants deep purse pockets, and even as a stylish diaper bag!  I’m planning on getting a turqoise boho and a carmel libby bag soon.  hehe

(Pardon the iPhone pics) A little rough around the edges after 2 1/2 years…

But, other than a few threads, it still looks good.

The back still looks new!

I would show you the inside of my bag, but, it’s a *wee* bit messy.  😉
