Today’s quick tip – be as close to your natural skin color as possible. I know that goes against our culture of needing to to look sun-kissed, but when you over tan, especially with spray or cream/lotion, you’ll look like an oompa loompa in your photos (aka Trump). Even if it happens to be applied smoothly, which, let’s face it, it rarely is, at best it leaves an orange undertone and at worst it leaves splotches of orange/brown.
Tanning in the sun won’t leave splotches on places like your hands and feet, or knees, and is slightly less orangey, but it can leave tan lines, and, obviously possibly cause cancer.
No matter what ethnicity you are, HEALTHY skin looks best – it’s so much better than splotchy, muddy orange skin.
